About

Sandy Bergsten meets individuals where they are, helps them navigate their station in life, and get grounded and clear on the challenges they face. She offers a safe space for those she coaches to express themselves, devise realistic plans of action to help them achieve their desired goals, all the while championing them to excel by cultivating their truest self.

My Story

After ten years of marriage I found myself as a full-time working, full-time single mother of a three and four-year-old. I tried so hard to be a great mom. It was an unrealistic objective that left me feeling inadequate. It wasn’t until I reset my expectations and strove to become a good mom that I evolved into a really good parent. My daughters are now thriving adults, with careers and growing families of their own. I feel fortunate that I can be in their corner. It’s made me realize how important it is to have someone there to attentively listen and serve as a mentor, advocate and champion.

Throughout my career, what has brought me the most joy is making meaningful contact with others. As a life- long educator, Gestalt practitioner, and curriculum designer I’ve developed a unique skill set: meeting people where they are and helping them to creatively craft the best course of action for their future. This work is as unique as your individual family system.

Parents should know they are not alone, that they have the tools they need to face their challenges all in a way that maximizes what they do best, so they can feel competent and find joy on their journey.
